An advanced, extremely stable digital density gauge with an onboard computer that integrates solids mass flow and total solids mass throughput measurements directly on the pipeline.

  • Narrow beam geometry — a collimated gamma beam paired with a collimated NaI scintillation crystal eliminates Compton-scattering errors through the pipe and slurry
  • Deadtime correction held to ±10 nanoseconds across the operating temperature range
  • Automatic decay compensation recalculates the correction factor daily against the last calibration
  • Gain stabilisation continuously compares count rate to a statistical model for automatic detector gain control
  • Double-encapsulated Cs-137 or Co-60 source in an IP65 lead-filled shielded holder with rotary shutter
